Macris was a honey nymph and a daughter of Aristaeus.
History[]
Macris was the daughter of Aristaeus, the god of bee-keeping and olive-growing. She was a nurse of the baby Dionysus and was later driven from her home by the wrathful goddess Hera and settled on Korkyra, home of the Phaeacians.
