Lynceus was one of the Argonaut's, and a son of Aphareus. He was a descendant of Zeus and Poseidon.

History[]

Along with his brother Idas, he was responsible for the murder of Castor, son of King Tyndareus of Sparta. They committed these acts out of jealousy for his interest in Phoebe and Hilaeira, the daughters of Leucippus.

Lynceus was one of the Argonauts and he participated in the hunt for the Calydonian Boar.

Capabilities[]

He was said to have excellent sight, even able to see through trees, walls and underground.
