Autamia is the nymph goddess of good decisions.

History[]

Autamia was the daughter of Hermes and Hecate. She would judge the good decisions of mortals and gods. She and her sister were tasked by the gods with accounting for the good and bad decisions of mortals living on the smallest islands of Greece. She and her sister Acrasia went to the island of Othonoi. There they witnessed a mortal Tountos and Parelea, who together boasted that their decisions influenced the gods and that they were mightier than them. As punishment they had to choose what animal they would both be turned into, and they both chose horses. That was when Zeus brought hunger upon the people living on the island. They killed the now transformed Tountos and Parelena.
