Apheidas was a son of Arcas by Chrysopeleia.
History[]
When Apheidas and his two brothers grew up to adulthood, their father divided his kingdom among them. Apheidas obtained Tegea and the surrounding territory, which was therefore called by poets the klêros Apheidanteios. Apheidas had a son named Aleus.
